Guess what the weather is like?

We spent about an hour and half slinking our way back through the streets of the historic district, awning to awning. We (me) could not make a decision on where to get out of the rain, where to get something to eat, and how best to get there. We (not me) left the umbrella in the car. Once back to the river, we found the awnings occupied from the Octoberfest visitors so we walked either under the run off from the awnings, or in the street, now known to me as the shallow river. While not our first, second, or even third choice we did finally find a place with little or no line. Spanky's the fair was paletable at best, and really not the good at all. We left there and moved to gather some sweets, find a Kroger (which we had heard about), and go by Wall's the "Best BBQ in Savannah" which was later rephrased to imply Georgia. We got some ribs, a deviled crab cake, found the Kroger (I drove by it about 10 times it did not look as I expected) and got some grub for post bath time at the cottage. If this BBQ is the best Georgia has to offer, I will stick to what Bridgeport has to offer. It was mustard sauce and tough thick bacon on the bone. Not good. Its bad when the Sushi at Kroger is better in Georgia than the Central Market in Southlake, but it was. We had the best intent of venturing back out to do something. But wet, cold, and exhausted. We never made it back out.
