AA, flights, and Friday the 13th

So I get off the phone with AA, very nice, but they have no idea where our bags are but the real catch is that the next flight into Anchorage is 2:30 today and 90 minutes to clear, so the soonest they might have our bags is 4:00 and that is if they can find them and verify where they are.  The flight we were supposed to be on landed 246 minutes late, I guess being here is better than being with our bags in Chicago or somewhere else.  The flight up is a long flight for non-stop, 6:45 and Lori and I were single file in the middle seats.  I have some pretty interesting companions.  A bishop for the Church of Christ in Alaska on one side and a retired fireman who was going to pump 2 and pump 3 to hunt caribou. He was so kind to point out that he was sitting in seat 13F flying on Friday the 13th.   Lori on the other hand was a little less fortunate a stiff and a movie watcher, and she wouldn't even rub my head.

I guess we are headed to walmart so we can really look like tourists.

Wow what a Day

So we are in lovely Alaska with out a stich of clothing except what we had on our backs when we left Dfw.  The bags went to Chicago and we went direct after a delay on the tarmac would have not allowed us to make the connection. Now some 12 hours later, our bags are still

Its going to be an interesting week in crocks and shorts.
